Frequently Asked Questions

How many dogs do you walk in a group?

We walk approximately four to five dogs in one group depending on demand.

How do you know the dogs will all "get on"?

Group dynamics are always carefully organised.

An initial meeting takes place before any walk  so that I can meet the dog and owner and vice versa.  I can then gather all the relevant information about the dog.  When a new dog joins the group, this dog is kept on the lead and assessed further.  Once confident that the new dog fits comfortably into the group he will be free to fully interact.

Since Privileged Pups has been established I have never experienced any problems within a group.

How do you Transport all the Dogs?

I have a small van which has been specially designed for the dog industry.  Each dog is housed individually within the vehicle, however is not caged.  Dogs can see and smell each other but cannot physically interact.  This prevents any animosity or over excited play whilst travelling.  My van can be seen at the initial meeting.

Do you have insurance?

Yes I have full Public Liability Insurance through CLIVERTON insurance group.  Documentation can be produced upon request.
